The singer Chiquis Rivera, who was born in Los Angeles 40 years ago and is the daughter of the late Jenni Rivera, took to her social networks to share with her more than 6 million followers her feelings about various events that have occurred in the United States and around the world in recent months.

“It is heartbreaking to see what is happening in our world. So much loss. So much pain. So many senseless actions,” Chiquis published in a statement.

In her text, which she wrote in English and Spanish, the businesswoman also expressed her dismay at the school shootings, but also at the separation of immigrant families and other issues.

“Lives that are lost, school shootings, immigrant families separated… and now even laws that allow someone to be stopped simply because of their appearance. All of this shows us how much we need more humanity,” the writer continued.

Chiquis concluded her very long text with a call to respect others and embrace our differences, because only then will we be better.

“We don’t always have to agree, but differences should never cost lives or dignity. We can… and we must be better because every life matters,” concluded the wife of Emilio Sanchez.

Her words touched hearts from his followers, who showed up on his post with likes or messages of approval
