Mana sets record for concerts in Los Angeles
The Mexican group, led by Fher Olvera, surpassed Bruce Springsteen's record by reaching 44 sold-out shows at the Kia Forum
Mana made history in Los Angeles by becoming the band with the most concerts in arenas in this city, surpassing the record held by Bruce Springsteen.
The Mexican group, led by Fher Olvera, reached a total of 44 shows, two more than the 42 held by the "Boss of Rock," after performing to sold-out crowds at the Kia Forum over the weekend, as part of Their tour, Vivir sin aire.
The relationship between Mana and Los Angeles spans more than three decades. The band's first performance in the city was in 1993 at the Hollywood Palace. Since then, their presence has been constant and growing.
In 2007, they were the first group of any genre to sell out 13 shows at the Staples Center.
Since 2016, the Kia Forum has become their regular venue, where in 2019 they held the first-ever arena residency for a band in the city, their bringing total to 31 concerts at the venue to date. To celebrate this milestone, Mana received a special tribute backstage at the stadium, featuring local bands and groups they consider their “second family.” The band was symbolically crowned the “Kings of LA,” and a permanent recognition backstage installation was unveiled in their legacy in the city. The Vivir sin aire tour, which began in September 2025 and will run until April 2026, continues to solidify Mana as a permanent presence in the US music industry and reaffirms their ability to fill iconic venues outside of Latin America. Upcoming tour dates include cities such as Miami, Brooklyn, and Atlanta, culminating in North Carolina. Mana, With 133 gold records, 256 platinum records, and multiple Grammy Awards, this record reaffirms their status as one of the most influential and beloved groups in Latin and world music.
