There was a violent clash on the Chandigarh-Mohali border on Wednesday. On Thursday afternoon, a 31-member batch of protesters left for Chandigarh from Mohali. The Chandigarh Police has registered an FIR against a total of 8 people, including seven leaders, in the violent clash that took place on Wednesday. The leaders against whom cases have been registered include Gurcharan Singh, Balwinder Singh, Lok Adhikar Lehar, Amar Singh Chahal, Dilsher Singh Jandiala, Jaswinder Singh Rajpura, Rupinder Jeet Singh and unknown. A case has been registered against all of them under 17 different sections. There are many sections in these including damage to public property, Arms Act.
