The G20 summit is going on in the country's capital and many leaders are discussing issues around the world. Giving this information, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Saturday that the G-20 leaders condemned terrorism in all its forms and believed that it is one of the most serious threats to international peace and security. Also said that G-20 has contributed in preparing India for the world and preparing the world for India.

Addressing a press conference on the outcomes of the G20 Summit, he said that the declaration agreed upon by the G20 Leaders today is focused on promoting strong sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth. It will attempt to accelerate progress on the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

S Jaishankar further said that this was an opportunity for us to showcase our culture, tradition and heritage. He also said that noting that the G20 is not a forum to resolve geopolitical and security issues, the leaders recognized that this could have important consequences for the global economy.

Foreign Minister S. on G-20 Jaishankar said in the statement that it is a matter of satisfaction for us that the African Union was today given permanent membership of the G-20 under the chairmanship of India. The message of our presidency is 'One Earth, One Family, One Future'. 20 member countries, nine invited countries and 14 international organizations participated in the G-20 organized under the chairmanship of India.

S Jaishankar said in particular the G20 leaders discussed the ongoing war in Ukraine and its impact, especially on developing and least developing countries, which are still recovering from the pandemic and economic disruption. He said food, fuel and fertilizers were issues of particular concern.
