Another dimension was added to the progress of Indore in Madhya Pradesh. The trial run of Indore Metro train was flagged off by the Chief Minister on Saturday. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that devotees will go from Indore to Ujjain by metro train in Simhastha. Survey has been completed till Ujjain, work will start soon. He said that metro train will also be operated till Pithampur. Apart from this, the development of Indore will be on the lines of a metropolis. The surrounding area should also be planned and developed holistically.

The Chief Minister said that a new phase has started for Indore. Operating Metro in Indore was a dream, which came true today. Shivraj alleged that Congress had stopped the metro work. But our government did the work quickly and conducted the trial run within the stipulated time. After the metro starts, the journey that takes hours will be in minutes.

Meanwhile, MP Shankar Lalwani said that Indore has traveled from tempo to metro in 20 years. In terms of safety, advanced class metro will run in Indore. He announced to run Indore to Ujjain Metro. At the same time, after showing the green flag, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan traveled in the metro train and greeted the public by waving hands from the train.

There will be 28 stations of metro train in Indore. Seven stations will be underground, while 21 stations will be elevated.

There will be a 31 kilometer route in the first phase in Indore. Yellow line of metro will be ready.

The metro will run at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour. The length of the coach is 22 meters. Metro will be available at the station every five minutes.

CCTV cameras will be installed in the coach for security. Cameras will also cover the outside of the coach.

Three hundred passengers will be able to travel in one coach.
