A inspector posted in Etmaddaula, Thana of Tajnagri, was accused of taking a huge bribe for removing the section in the case of dowry harassment and murderous assault. However, after taking the bribe, the inspector completed the work of the plaintiff, but the matter was opened when the respondent was called to the police station. After this, the victim complained to the SSP about taking bribe by the inspector, then the SSP got the investigation done by the jurisdictional officer, in which a case has been registered against the inspector if found guilty. Since then, the inspector is absconding for 5 days.

According to the information received, Khushboo of Etmaddaula area had registered an indictment against her husband Sanjay, father-in-law Ranveer and mother-in-law Shivkumari on 2022, in which allegation of dowry harassment, murderous assault, criminal conspiracy. SI Manveer Singh was investigating the case. In this, the SI removed the section of murderous assault and abortion and put a charge sheet in the section of dowry harassment.

To remove the section of murderous assault and abortion, the inspector took a bribe of about 50 thousand from Sanjay and also completed the work of the victim. But the inspector called Sanjay to the police station to get the 41 CrPC notice served. A person who came with Sanjay made a video while talking to the inspector. When the inspector came to know about this, he told Sanjay and his companion a lot of lies and got the video deleted. Enraged by this, Sanjay complained to the SSP about taking bribe by the inspector.

On the basis of the complaint of the respondent Sanjay, the SSP got the matter investigated by CO Chhatta. In this, it was confirmed that the inspector took 50 thousand. After this, on the orders of the SSP, on Thursday, an indictment was written against SI Manveer Singh in Etmaddaula police station under sections of abusing and threatening to demand Chauth. A section of the Prevention of Corruption Act was also imposed against the inspector.
