The NIA has officially started the process of investigation by registering an FIR regarding the case in New Delhi. The matter will be investigated under the leadership of DSP rank officers. On Wednesday, the copy of the FIR was handed over to the special NIA court in Kolkata. It is being told that the state government had submitted a report to the Union Home Ministry regarding the Mominpur violence. On the basis of the said report, the Union Home Ministry entrusted the investigation of the matter to the NIA. As part of the investigation, a special team of NIA from New Delhi is going to come to Kolkata.

In the Mayurbhanj area of ​​Mominpur, on the night of October 8, a dispute broke out between some people over the installation of a flag in the area. Later on this matter increased a lot. Several houses in the area were ransacked. In view of the matter, the police force reached the spot, but the situation was not controlled. From time to time there were violent clashes, which continued on 9 October. The miscreants ransacked many houses. Bikes parked on the side of the road were also damaged. When the police team reached the spot, the miscreants pelted stones on it. Three senior police officers were injured in this.
Police engaged in investigation of the case
Taking the matter seriously, the police started arresting the accused. Five FIRs were registered. So far 65 mischievous elements have been arrested. Let us inform that since this incident, NIA was collecting facts at the primary level and was keeping an eye on every activity. At the same time, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and BJP MLA Shubhendu Adhikari had also taken out a march from the assembly to the Raj Bhavan against Mominpur violence and demanded an investigation by the NIA into the matter.
