Farmers Roar rally will be organized on Monday at Ramlila Maidan by the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh. About 55 thousand farmers and other people are likely to come in this. Farmers will come by about 800 buses and 4000 private vehicles. In such a situation, traffic can be affected on a large scale in Ramlila Maidan and surrounding areas from 11 am to 6 pm. In such a situation, the traffic police has advised the common people to avoid coming towards Ramlila Maidan.
Chandra Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Central Range of Delhi Traffic Police said that traffic from Maharaja Ranjit Singh Marg, Minto Road roundabout, Ajmeri Gate, Chamanlal Marg, Delhi Gate, JLN Marg, Kamla Market roundabout till Hamdard Chowk, Bhavbhuti Marg and Paharganj Chowk etc. will be converted.
Traffic may be closed at Ranjit Singh Flyover from Barakhamba Road to Gurunanak Chowk, Minto Road roundabout from Kamla Market Golchakkar to Vivekananda Marg, JLN Marg from Delhi Gate to Gurunanak Chowk, Gurunanak Chowk to Kamla Market Golchakkar, Chaman Lal Marg, Asaf Ajmeri Gate and Jhandewalan towards Ali Road, Paharganj Chowk from Deshbandhu Gupta Road to Ajmeri Gate.
People should take care of these things, those who are going to New Delhi, Old Delhi and Nizamuddin Railway Station and ISBT, leave home after taking enough time. Use public transport service. Park the vehicle in the parking lot only. If anyone sees any suspicious object, inform the police immediately.
