The land of the now closed sugar mills in Bihar will be used to open a textile mill. 2800 acres of land belonging to the closed sugar mills in the state has been transferred to the Industries Department. Shahnawaz Hussain told that out of the transferred land, 1719 acres of land has been found in Mega Textile Park. In the Logistics Park, more than 1700 acres of land has been found in Gaya. 173 acres of land has been offered in Madhepura. 100 acres of land has been offered in Khagaria.
2800 acres of land to the Industries Department
Shahnawaz said that we have enough land. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given the closed sugar mills and another 2800 acres of land to the Industries Department. He said that our intention is to provide land or space with plug and play facilities to the textile companies coming to Bihar so that industries can be established at a faster pace. He said that the biggest strength of Bihar is its trained labor force.

Shahnawaz said that in all the textile companies of the country including Tirupur, Surat, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chandigarh, most of the skilled or semi-skilled workers are from Bihar, so the success of the textile and leather industry in Bihar is guaranteed the most. In this way, more people get employment in this sector with less capital.
Red carpet welcome to industrialists on coming to Bihar
Shahnawaz Hussain also said that apart from encouraging through policy, we will also give red carpet welcome to industrialists from across the country when they come to Bihar. He said that we are working a lot on the ease of doing business. We are completing various processes ranging from land allotment to hours, not in months, weeks or days.
