The third day of the Congress's Bharat Jodi Yatra in Kerala began on Tuesday from Kanyapuram near Kazhakootam, where the yatra had ended the previous day. The third day of the yatra, which started at around 7.15 am, witnessed the same enthusiastic crowd of people as the previous two days of the Kerala leg. Under the Bharat Jodo Yatra, a distance of 3,570 km will be covered from Kanyakumari to Kashmir in 150 days.

By the time the journey ended on Monday evening, a distance of 100 km had been covered. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a gathering in Kazhakootam on Monday, said that elections can be won by hatred, violence and anger, but it cannot solve the socio-economic problems facing the country. On Monday, as the padyatra progressed, the crowd of people was also increasing.

Enthused by the huge crowd, Gandhi attacked the BJP, alleging that the BJP has proved that hatred can be used politically and to win elections, but it cannot create jobs. Rahul Gandhi is also an MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala.

Gandhi tweeted at the end of the day's visit that India's dream is broken, not shattered. To make that dream come true, we are bringing India together. It's a hundred kilometer journey. We have just started.

All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Jairam Ramesh had tweeted that the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' has completed the journey of exactly 100 kms and it has "disappointed, restless and upset the BJP, whereas the Congress party had earlier She is filled with 100 times more enthusiasm. With every step we are making our resolve stronger.

The 150-day walk started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7 and will pass through 12 states and two union territories. This yatra reached Kerala on the evening of 10 September. Under this yatra, a distance of 450 km will be covered in the state, touching seven districts in a period of 19 days. After this, this yatra will reach Karnataka on October 1.
