Jamshedpur: 8 people lost their eyesight due to the negligence of KCC Eye Hospital in Jamshedpur. Actually the matter is that 45 km away from the district is Kitadih village of Ghatshila subdivision area. 11 months ago, in the name of free eye treatment, the eyes of 8 village elders were treated. However, in this case, the Sakchi police has registered an FIR against the operator of KCC Eye Hospital located on Kalimati Road and others.
According to the information, KCC Eye Hospital gets benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Instead, they have to bring people from villages and get cataract treatment. Through agents and assistants, this hospital brings people and treats them and then sends them back. There is a possibility of a syndicate working in the whole matter.

Somwari Murmu, an Anganwadi assistant of Kitadih area, had come to the village with a woman. The said woman told the villagers that people who have problems in their eyes. They can get treatment for free. At the behest of the said woman, Gangadhar Singh (65), Chita Hansda (Female), Tete Giri, Deba Murmu, Majol, Bhanu, Majhi Murmu and Patro Murmu agreed to undergo treatment. All were brought to Jamshedpur on 18 November 2021.
He was treated at KCC Eye Hospital here. On the very next day he was released from the village. After the treatment, he started having trouble in his eyes. Gangadhar Singh told that even his family members were not allowed to go with him. He was first taken to Ranchi, then to Kolkata and treated. After that the house was left, but the eyesight did not return. Then there was itching in the eyes. When Gangadhar Singh scratched his eye, the glass ball in his eye fell. After this it was revealed that wrong has happened to him.
