However, Shraddha had earlier also lodged a complaint in a police station in Mumbai in view of the threat to her life. But no action was taken by the police.

Shraddha had written in the complaint letter to the police in the year 2020 that Aftab beats her up and wants to kill her. Apart from the police, Shraddha had also complained about this to Aftab's family members. But the family members had distanced themselves from this matter.
