For the convenience of the passengers of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, preparations are being made to construct a passenger ropeway with a 12 km long track from Tarakot Marg to Sanjichhat at a cost of Rs 250 crore. This 2.4 kilometer long ropeway project will be completed in three years.

For the convenience of the devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi, a modern prasad cum souvenir center has been set up in the building. Apart from this, Panch Meva Prasad and Mata Ka Prasad have also been made available in the Prasad Kendra for the sale of silver coins and gold medals.
