Madonna previews 'Confessions II' during an exclusive party at The Abbey club
At the event, Madonna danced to new tracks from her upcoming album “Confessions II”, the follow-up to her successful 2005 album “Confessions on a Dance Floor”
The Queen of Pop reigns again on the dance floor. Madonna made a surprise appearance on Saturday, April 25th at a private party held at The Abbey, the iconic West Hollywood, California club. The event, dubbed “Club Confessions Los Angeles,” served as a prelude to her highly anticipated new album, “Confessions II,” the follow-up to her acclaimed 2005 album, “Confessions on a Dance Floor.” During the evening, Madonna not only greeted the crowd and danced non-stop, but also treated attendees to several unreleased tracks from her upcoming album, including her recent single, “I Feel So Free.” The music was provided by three top DJs: Stuart Price, a longtime collaborator of the singer's during the “Confessions” era, along with Romy and Mez Monty. The guest list was another major highlight of the night. Figures such as Addison Rae, Lily Allen, Kali Uchis, Cara Delevingne, Bebe Rexha, Julia Fox, actress Tori Spelling, model and photographer Nadia Lee Cohen, diver Tom Daley, as well as the well-known drag queens Gottmik, Symone, and Trinity, shared the stage with the diva, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Also in attendance were her boyfriend Akeem Morris, singer Sky Ferreira, Lola Young, Romy from the group The xx, Jodie Turner-Smith, Archie Madekwe, and Lushious Massacr, among others. This event comes weeks after Madonna made another triumphant surprise appearance during Sabrina Carpenter's Coachella show, where both artists offered a preview of a future collaboration. “Confessions II,” one of the most anticipated releases of the year, will arrive in digital and physical stores on July 3. Fans can now pre-order it through digital platforms.
