PIL filed against Dr Nirmal Manjhi
It has been alleged in the PIL that MLA Nirmal Majhi has compared state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with Allah. By doing this he has hurt the sentiments of the Muslim community. It is worth mentioning that Dr Nirmal Majhi, Trinamool Congress MLA from Ulubediya North Assembly in West Bengal, was recently accused of describing Mamata Banerjee as an incarnation of Mother Sharda.
Public interest litigation filed in Calcutta High Court
Now Dr Maaji has been accused of comparing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with Allah. Nazia Elahi Khan has filed a public interest litigation in the Calcutta High Court, alleging that Dr Maaji has compared the Chief Minister of West Bengal with Allah. This is definitely against the religious sentiments of the Muslim community and is an offense under section 295A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
Like Nupur Sharma, Dr. Manjhi has also committed a crime
The PIL further states that the way Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nupur Sharma had used derogatory words against Prophet Mohammad, in the same way Dr Maaji also committed a crime by comparing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to Allah. Is. However, legal action was not taken against Dr. Maji, while Nupur Sharma had to face several types of legal action. Lookout notice was issued against Nupur.
