The South African billionaire announced that, in response to the concerns expressed by thousands of American citizens dissatisfied with the Republicans and Democrats, he is committed to creating the so-called “America Party”.

However, at the end of his four-month term as a "special government employee" and due to having marked differences with the nation's president himself, he ended up becoming one of his main detractors. For several days he had warned of the possibility of founding a political party that would give a voice to Americans who disagree with the policies promoted not only by the current federal administration, but also by previous ones. Less than 24 hours after launching a survey on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, where he asked Americans to vote for or against the idea of ????having a new political party to represent them, the richest man on the planet closed the exercise with the commitment to gather everything necessary to give life to his own political party. The survey recorded a participation of just under 1.2 million votes, of which 65.4% voted in favor of founding a new political force to support on the ballot.

“By a factor of 2 to 1, if you want a new political party, you will have it! When it comes to ruining our country with waste and corruption, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy. Today the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom,” wrote the co-founder of companies like Tesla, SpaceX and Starlink.
