Now, five years later, Paty Navidad has radically changed her position, especially after the recent immigration raids on Mexican and Latino citizens in the United States.

In an interview with the program Sale el Sol, Navidad expressed her disappointment with the policies implemented in Trump's second term, calling them inhumane.

"I am definitely not in favor, one It's disappointing... I'm definitely against what's happening to our countrymen," she stated.

Navidad also recalled that she wasn't the only one to support Trump, mentioning that singer Lupillo Rivera did too. The actress acknowledged that she has recovered her mental health and embraced her consistency again.

Since January, the Trump administration ordered ICE to increase daily arrests to 3,000, resulting in massive operations in workplaces and public spaces, especially in sectors such as agriculture and hospitality.

The official objective of these actions was to detain and deport people who are in the country illegally. However, human rights organizations and community leaders report that the raids have targeted immigrants without criminal records and have sown fear in the community,sparking protests and blockades in cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.
