From her morning press conference at the National Palace, the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, affirmed that no US military intervention will occur in Mexico to combat drug cartels drug trafficking.
“It's not going to happen. In fact, there was a clarification later. I've mentioned it many times. phone conversations I've had with President Trump, he has suggested on several occasions, or said, 'We offer you a US military intervention in Mexico or whatever you need to combat the criminal groups.' But I've told him every time that we can collaborate, they can help us with any information they have, but we operate in our territory, and we don't accept intervention from any foreign government,” she stated.
