A large number of people fell into the water due to the breaking of the ladder while offering Arghya. They were pulled out of the water with the help of the people. According to the information, a large number of devotees and devotees had gathered at Chhath Ghat. As soon as the offering of Sandhya Arghya to Lord Surya started, suddenly the ladder broke. Hundreds of devotees were standing at the top of the ladder. As soon as the ladder broke, everyone fell into the water. With the help of the people, the devotees were pulled out of the water, but five people were injured in this. Among them, Elbow Ghosh, a resident of Retired Colony, Sheetla Devi, a resident of Pandit Hata, Mansi Gupta, Riznu Gupta and Aarti Mahato, a resident of Chandmari, are injured. They are being treated.

According to the information, all the injured were brought for first aid to the health camp set up by the Indian Red Cross Society. All the injured have suffered injuries in their arms, legs and various parts of the body. They are being treated.
