Maluma revealed a little-known side of Shakira: “She knows how to handle horses”
The singer surprised on Jimmy Fallon's show by recounting how the Barranquilla woman masterfully mastered the Creole horses on her ranch in Medellín
The complicity between Shakira and Maluma was more than demonstrated in the musical field thanks to hits like “Chantaje.” However, the Paisa performer has just revealed a hidden talent of his compatriot that surprised his followers: his extraordinary skill in the world of horse riding.
During an appearance on the American program “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, where he presented his single “Loco X Volver”, Maluma shared a funny anecdote with the Barranquilla native.
The equestrian encounter occurred backstage at a concert in Medellín, when Shakira explicitly asked him to visit her breeding ranch, Criadero El Relato, for the purpose of horseback riding.
What surprised Maluma himself the most was the particular demands of the Barranquilla woman. Although she has imposing and muscular European specimens on her farm, Shakira immediately rejected them. His interest was in the Colombian Criollo horse, a native breed known for its rhythmic gait and characteristic gait that simulates a dance.
Faced with the incredulous look of Fallon, who even asked if the video of the artist riding was a product of Artificial Intelligence, Maluma immediately came to her defense.
"She is an excellent rider. She knows perfectly how to handle Colombian horses," the singer said proudly, praising the performer's natural connection with the genetics of these specimens.
With this revelation, Shakira not only demonstrates that she dominates the global stages and popularity charts, but also that she has a great connection with her roots.
