Shakira once again moved the world with an emotional and energetic gesture that reaffirms her close bond with football and social causes. Through her social networks, the Colombian star shared a video in which she appears dancing with the members of Ghetto Kids, the children's dance group originally from Uganda that has become a truly global phenomenon.
In the video, the Barranquilla woman and the little ones perfectly execute the dance challenge of “Dai Dai”, the catchy official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
With contagious smiles, colorful clothing and overflowing energy, the clip immediately accumulated millions of views and praise from the artist's fans, who applauded the singer's empathy and her constant work supporting social projects.
The Ghetto Kids are a foundation that uses art and dance to transform the lives of children experiencing street or extreme poverty in Uganda.
After their vibrant choreography went viral on social networks, Shakira herself did not hesitate to react moved and formally invited them to New York to accompany her on stage in the first halftime show to be held in a World Cup final, scheduled for next July 19.
“This edition plans to leave an important legacy for all those children who do not have visibility,” said the interpreter, highlighting the multicultural and inclusive approach of the event.
