How Many Times is the Festival of Navratri Celebrated in a Year?
According to the news, four Navratri festivals are celebrated in a year, which also includes the Gupt Navratri of the month of Ashadh. This Navratri is known for Tantric Sadhana. During Gupt Navratri, Tantriks use special mantras and tantras, so that the person can get the special blessings of the Goddess. However, during this time, common people also worship Goddess Durga. Bhog also has special importance in worship. Bhog should be offered to the deities according to their liking.
Offer Different Types of Bhog to the Goddess for Nine Days
In the Gupt Navratri of Ashadh, Maa Shailputri is worshipped on the first day, but for Tantric Sadhana, Goddess Kali is worshipped. Sweets made of ghee are offered in it.
On the second day of Gupt Navratri, Goddess Brahmacharini is worshiped, but for Tantric Sadhana, Goddess Tara is worshiped, in which sweets made of milk are offered.
On the third day of Gupt Navratri, Maa Chandraghanta is worshipped, but for Tantric Sadhana, Tripura Sundari is worshipped. On this day, Panchamrit is offered as Prasad.
On the fourth day of Gupt Navratri, Kushmanda Devi is worshipped, but for Tantric Sadhana, Bhuneshwari Devi is worshipped. Malpua is offered as prasad on this day.
On the fifth day of Gupt Navratri, Skandmata is worshipped, but for Tantric Sadhana, Mata Chhinnamastika is worshipped. Bananas are offered as Prasad on this day.
On the sixth day of Gupt Navratri, Maa Katyayani is worshipped, but for Tantric Sadhana, Maa Tripura Devi is worshipped. On this day, sweets made of jaggery are offered as prasad.
On the seventh day of Gupt Navratri, Maa Kalratri is worshipped, but for Tantric Sadhana, Dhumavati Devi is worshipped. Sweet water is offered on this day.
Mahagauri is worshipped on the eighth day of Gupt Navratri, but for Tantric Sadhana, Baglamukhi Devi is worshipped. Coconut laddus are offered as prasad on this day.
On the ninth day of Gupt Navratri, Siddhidatri is worshipped, but for Tantric Sadhana, Matangi Devi is worshipped. On this day saffron is offered as Prasad.
On the last day of Gupt Navratri, Mata Kamala is worshipped. Kheer, Puri, Halwa are offered as Prasad on this day.
