Manny Pacquiao was unable to become champion again at 46 years old after tying by majority decision against Mario Barrios, who retained his welterweight title of the World Boxing Council (WBC) on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

“For me, I won the fight. It was a close fight and Barrios was very tough. I worked hard and stayed disciplined. I always stay in shape to do this. I need to keep training longer for a championship fight. I started late this time because of the election, but it's okay. Of course I want a rematch, as I want to leave a legacy and make the Filipino people proud,” he said.
On the other hand, Mario Barrios felt honored to share the ring with Pacquiao and acknowledged that for his age he is still a difficult fighter to pin down. He also emphasized that the Filipino's legs are still intact and that he is open to a second fight.
