Atlético de Madrid asks for respect from the FC Barcelona environment with a bad joke on social networks
The Spanish team published images of false advertisements for Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Raphinha. From Atlético they wanted to give a "lesson" to the culé team
In the last few hours, the alleged attempt to sign Julián Álvarez by FC Barcelona has emerged, mainly in the Catalan media. The information detailed the Argentine's disagreement with the club. However, Atlético Madrid denied all these rumors and, through social networks, wanted to offer “spoons of that own medicine.”

The reports spoke of alleged discontent between “La Araña” and the Madrid entity. In fact, FC Barcelona had already agreed to pay more than $120 million dollars to close the signing of Julián Álvarez. But all this turned out to be false.
In this sense, Atlético Madrid used its social networks to publish three photographs with the usual template of the transfer media. The Madrid team closed the arrival of Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Raphinha to their club. However, with this publication they only wanted to demonstrate the ease with which misinformation content is created.
"And remember, it took us only five minutes to create this hoax. We live in a time where reality can be altered. Don't believe everything you see, especially if it is related to Barça," the club wrote.
These publications were accompanied with absurd methods to close each of the false agreements with FC Barcelona. This has generated a lot of excitement on social networks.
Hard blow from Atlético de Madrid
The “Colchonero” team was not only satisfied with the false transfer announcements. Atlético de Madrid demanded respect in the face of constant attempts to destabilize its players with false proposals and negotiations. The statement went far beyond the limits by bringing the Negreira case to the table.
"No, Atlético de Madrid would never do something like that. However, in recent months we have been suffering a campaign of harassment and demolition of one of our players. Interested leaks, 'fake news', continuous lack of respect, the culé version of the machinery inventing comics, calls before direct confrontations... But of course, it would not occur to us either to have the vice president of the referees on a salary or to resort to political favors to register players. RESPECT and VALUES", the Spanish entity communicated.
This statement refers to the payments to José María Enríquez Negreira while he was the Vice President of the Technical Committee of Referees (“…it would not occur to us to have the vice president of the referees on a salary…”), and also to the way in which the club manages to register new players despite having had problems with Financial Fair Play (“…or resort to political favors to register players.”).
