Jake Paul challenged Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez again on social media after being brutally knocked out by Anthony Joshua last weekend at the Kaseya Center in Miami.
In a post on his X account, Paul uploaded an X-ray of his jaw broken in two He sarcastically called for a fight with the former undisputed super middleweight champion. "Doubly broken jaw. Give me Canelo in 10 days. Broken jaw. Heart and balls intact. Time to rest, recover, and return to cruiserweight," he wrote. Due to the injury suffered by the YouTuber-turned-boxer, his return could take quite some time, as it is serious. It is currently unknown how long he will be out of action, but he made it clear that he will continue fighting. In the fight with Anthony Joshua, Jake Paul spent most of his time running around the ring to avoid his opponent's powerful punches, resulting in a slow start. Midway through the fight, the YouTuber-turned-boxer showed signs of fatigue, and that was his downfall. The Briton was able to connect with the American and knocked him down four times (twice in the fifth and twice more in the sixth). It was precisely in that round that Joshua finished Paul with a powerful right hand that fractured his jaw in two places. Canelo Alvarez, on the other hand, was seeking a rematch with Terence Crawford to avenge his defeat last September, but the American withdrew. His next steps are currently unknown. Jake Paul, 27, suffered his second career defeat, his first by knockout. The American YouTuber has a record of 12 wins (six by knockout) and two losses. Meanwhile, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, 34, lost his undisputed 168-pound championship to Crawford in a historic fight. The Mexican now has a record of 63 wins (39 by knockout), three losses, and two draws in his professional career.
