Midway through the fight, the YouTuber-turned-boxer showed signs of fatigue, and that was his downfall. The Briton was able to connect with the American and knocked him down four times (twice in the fifth and twice more in the sixth). It was precisely in that round that Joshua finished Paul with a powerful right hand that fractured his jaw in two places. Canelo Alvarez, on the other hand, was seeking a rematch with Terence Crawford to avenge his defeat last September, but the American withdrew. His next steps are currently unknown.
