Vinicius Jr., a star of Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team, has been charged by Brazilian justice for the alleged crime of “disturbing work or public order” due to a massive party he organized last July to celebrate his 25th birthday birthday.

The case is in the hands of the 9th Special Criminal Court of Rio de Janeiro, responsible for judging minor infractions, according to sources from the state judicial system.

A celebration that disturbed the rest of the neighbors

According to the complaint cited by O Globo, the celebration took place in an exclusive property in the west zone of Rio and lasted from the 19th until the early hours of July 21. The loud noises and the use of fireworks caused one of the residents to alert the Military Police, who intervened and asked them to lower the volume.

However, the complainant claims that, after the officers withdrew, the music became very loud again, which led to a formal complaint for disturbing the peace.

A luxurious party with 500 guests and renowned artists

The Brazilian press described the event as a large-scale celebration with more than 500 people in attendance. Among those in attendance were French soccer player Eduardo Camavinga, singer Anitta, and renowned rapper Travis Scott, who allegedly put on a private show. The event included musical shows, fireworks, and fairground-style attractions.

A minor infraction with great media coverage

The crime he is accused of is classified under the Brazilian Penal Code and carries a penalty of between 15 days and 3 months in prison, or a fine. The initial hearing in the case is scheduled for November 6, and Vinicius is expected to be represented by his legal team.
