Google is one of those brands that simply can't keep a secret, and its next generation of flagship phones proves it again. A few days before the Made By Google event takes place, a new leak of “official” renders revealed practically the entire design of the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL. Leaker Evan Blass, known for his previous successes, published dozens of high-resolution images showing each model in all its available colors.
The curious thing is that this leak comes just after renders of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold were known, so the entire family no longer has much mystery before its official presentation on August 12. As usually happens with Google every year, the excitement of the launch is diluted a little when you have already seen the entire product months before.
This is what the new colors of the Pixel 11 look like
If there is something that steals the spotlight in this leak, it is the finishes. The standard Pixel 11 will arrive in four shades, Midnight (a greenish black reminiscent of the Pixel 5), Fuschia, a lighter green called Moss and a soft lavender called Sterling. They all share a matte frame combined with a shiny glass back, something that Google maintains despite the fact that this combination is already beginning to feel a bit repeated in the rest of the industry.
The Pro models, for their part, share four colors of their own, Midnight, Fog, Pine and Dune. The one that attracts the most attention is Dune, with gold details and a peach-colored rear glass that looks really elegant in the leaked images. But the real news is in the Midnight variant of the Pixel 11 Pro, which breaks with the tradition of shiny metallic finishes and arrives with a completely matte frame, something that Google had only previously reserved for its foldables and the Pixel 10a. For those of us who hate fingerprints on the phone, this is undoubtedly the best news of the entire leak.
Technical specifications that are already confirmed
Beyond the design, the leaks accumulated in recent weeks also revealed almost the entire technical sheet of the series. The heart of the four models will be the Tensor G6 processor, manufactured with 2 nanometer lithography and accompanied by the Titan M3 security chip. RAM will vary by model, with 8 or 12 GB on the Pixel 11 and 12 or 16 GB on the Pro models, as well as UFS 4.0 storage.
In screens, the Pixel 11 will bet on a 6.3-inch OLED panel with a refresh rate of 60 to 120 Hz, while the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL will up the ante with LTPO panels of up to 3,600 nits of maximum brightness, a fairly high figure even by current standards. The Pro XL maintains its larger 6.8-inch screen, ideal for those who prioritize the consumption of multimedia content.
The camera also receives interesting improvements. A renewed 50 megapixel main sensor is expected across the range, accompanied by an ultra wide angle and a telephoto lens that in the Pro models would reach 48 megapixels each, a notable increase compared to the previous generation. The battery is not far behind either, with capacities around 4,840 mAh in the Pixel 11 and up to 5,000 mAh in the Pro XL, figures that should translate into fairly decent autonomy for daily use.
With all this information already circulating, it seems that the only real mystery that Google has left for August 12 is the final price, which according to several rumors could increase compared to the previous generation. In the meantime, these leaked renders give us a pretty good idea of what's coming and, honestly, the proposed colors and finishes already have many fans excited waiting for the release date.
