Chinese App ban:
The government has once again done a digital surgical strike on the Chinese app. Now citing security, the government has banned more than 200 apps with Chinese links.
As per reports, states like Telangana, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh as well as central intelligence agencies have recommended action against these apps to the Union Home Ministry.
Following which 138 betting apps and 94 loan apps having these Chinese links have been banned and blocked on an immediate and emergency basis.
