In a major blow to high-skilled foreign workers, America's Biden administration has proposed a huge increase in immigration fees, including for the much-anticipated H-1B visas. The proposed rule published by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on Wednesday has raised the application fee for H-1B visa from US$460 to US$780 and for L-1 from US$460 to US$1,385. The application fee for an O-1 visa has been proposed to be increased from US$ 460 to US$ 1,055.
