In the last two years, apart from the Corona epidemic, many dangerous viruses like Monkeypox, Nipah and Zika have taken away the lives of lakhs of people. Many people are still hospitalized. In such a situation, the World Health Organization (WHO) has now embarked on a new mission to avert the impending danger. Under this, the health agency will identify and make a list of 'pathogens' that can give rise to epidemics in future so that work can be done on its prevention.

First of all know what are Pathogens?

Pathogens means pathogen, that is, the one who gives rise to the disease, due to which many types of diseases are born. This includes viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites etc. They can make any organism, tree-plant or other micro-organisms sick. Diseases caused by organisms in humans are also known as pathogenic diseases.

More than 300 scientists have been deployed to make the mission a success

Scientists will also consider Disease X

These pandemics also include COVID-19, Ebola virus disease, Marburg virus disease, Lassa fever, Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), Nipah, Zika and disease X. Huh. Research will be initiated on each pathogen identified as a priority. Only then can the desired specifications for vaccines, treatments and clinical trials be created. The revised list is expected to be published before April 2023.
