Ambulance plane crashes in mountainous area of New Mexico and leaves four dead

The authorities in New Mexico confirmed this Thursday the death of the four people who were travelling on a medical plane that crashed near the town of Ruidoso during the early morning.

Accident occurred in a remote wooded area
Jason Burns, administrator of Lincoln county, where the destination airport is located, confirmed in a press conference that none of the people onboard survived.
“The four people have been confirmed dead at the scene,” the official declared.
The accident site is located in a remote forested area in the Capitan mountains area, according to data from FlightRadar24. Equ Emergency types, firefighters and police agents responded to the scene after reporting a fire related to the impact of the aircraft.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the FAA initiated an investigation to clarify what caused the medical plane accident in New Mexico.
So far, authorities have not revealed the identities of the victims or details about the weather conditions at the time of the flight.
Burns also expressed his condolences to the relatives and relatives of the victims.
“Our hearts and prayers are with the families, loved ones, friends and colleagues of those who lost their lives,” he noted.
Federal investigations will seek to determine whether there were mechanical failures, visibility issues, or other factors that contributed to the aerial tragedy that occurred near Ruidoso.
