Activists take action to strengthen protections for the immigrant community after the Supreme Court ruling to lift restrictions on raids
Immigrant rights groups announced that they will take action to strengthen protections for the immigrant community in Los Angeles after the Supreme Court's decision to lift restrictions on operations by federal agencies in Southern California.
The executive director of the Coalition for Full Immigrant Rights, Juan Jose Gutierrez, told Telemundo that they will not make it easier for federal forces to arrest or violate the rights of members of the Latino community.
Gutierrez said the coalition he leads is increasing efforts to organize and protect the immigrant community.
