Gustavo Adolfo Infante charges against Cazzu after her request for "enough hatred" on social media
During her concerts in Mexico, Cazzu asked her fans to stop the hate, referring to the expressions of hatred against Christian Nodal
After Cazzu called for love and to stop the hate on social media, journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante didn't miss the opportunity to criticize her, accusing her of having sown the controversy that now affects her.
Cazzu's request was made during one of her concerts prior to her arrival in Mexico. In front of thousands of attendees, the trap singer, known as 'La Jefa', asked to stop the attacks and bullying on digital platforms.
“As La Jefa of this whole situation, I want to ask you for less hate: enough, enough of hate, enough of storming the networks, for whatever reason, enough, love, all love, we are love and this world needs more love and more songs like this” Cazzu
What did Gustavo Adolfo Infante say?
However, far from being received unanimously, the message was quickly answered by the host Gustavo Adolfo Infante. On his show De Primera Mano, the journalist lashed out at the singer, arguing that she was the one who started the climate of criticism against him. Infante referred to an alleged song released by Cazzu that, according to him, was directed at fellow singer Angela Aguilar, the current partner of Christian Nodal, Cazzu's ex. "Cazzu, I want to tell you that now she really asks for respect. She released a song to attack Angela and now there should be no hate (...) if she caused it with her song, if she hadn't caused it, then they wouldn't be attacking her the way they are," the journalist stated. He added forcefully: "Since the water has reached the rigging, then now it is." Although Cazzu never confirmed that the song in question is dedicated to Angela Aguilar, speculation on social media is enough to keep the controversy alive. Followers of both artists have identified verses that could be interpreted as innuendos, fueling rivalry in the public sphere.
The journalist's reaction sparked an online debate, dividing users. While some defend Cazzu and her message of peace, others agree with Infante, pointing out that artists must assume the consequences of their actions when they release songs or statements considered controversial.
The truth is that Cazzu in 'Latinaje' made a journey through different musical genres and, without a doubt, it is one of her most personal albums and one that demonstrates her great vocal talent.
