ICE increases its presence in Los Angeles with more raids
Federal agencies arrested seven immigrants on Friday in operations at a car wash in Studio City and a Home Depot in Pomona
Federal immigration agencies are increasing their number in the Los Angeles area, with the arrest of at least seven people in two operations and protests from communities and local leaders.
Several workers were detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during an operation which took place this Friday at a car wash in Studio City, where members of the community clashed with law enforcement.
ICE agents carried out an operation at Studio City Hand Car Wash, at 11514 Ventura Boulevard, while regular customers looked on in astonishment, who were surprised while authorities arrested four of the workers.
