Italian Chef Arrested for Robbing Three Banks in San Francisco on the Same Day
Valentino Luchin, an Italian chef with a career in the Bay Area, was accused of committing three robberies at San Francisco banks on September 10.
A renowned 62-year-old Italian chef from California was arrested as a suspect in robbing three San Francisco banks on the same day last week.
Valentino Luchin, originally from Italy, is accused by authorities of committing the triple robbery. He worked as executive chef at Rose Pistola in San Francisco's North Beach and later opened Ottavio Osteria in Walnut Creek, which he owned and operated before closing in 2016. In a statement, the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) said that on September 10, officers responded to a robbery activation that occurred at a bank in the 1100 block of Grant Avenue shortly after 12:00 p.m.
