Although there is still no official announcement about the results of the primaries, Democrat Xavier Becerra is already eyeing his participation in the November general elections for governor of California, waiting to know the name of his opponent on the ballots.
This Tuesday morning, Becerra began his campaign towards the November elections with an event in the historic South Central neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Becerra, whose primary campaign received the term “Tío Xavier” to highlight his Mexican-American roots, went to Mercado La Paloma, where he met with small business owners and customers, with whom he spoke in Spanish.
