The Karnataka State IT/ITES Employees Union, KITU, says that Byju's is laying off staff at its Bengaluru headquarters. KITU secretary Suraj Nidhianga told the media that resignations were being forcibly taken from the employees of Byju's. The HR department of the company is engaged in forcefully accepting resignations from the employees. However, no written notice has been received from the company regarding layoffs. For the past one week, the HR department has been calling the employees and asking them to resign voluntarily.
What does Byju have to say?
Byju Company has vehemently denied these allegations. The company has said that it is absolutely wrong that Byju's is forcing its employees to resign.
