In the pre-open session, the 30-point Sensex opened at 58,671.09, up by 320.56 points or 0.55%, while the 50-point Nifty gained 90.05 points or 0.52% to open at 17,478.20. There is a continuous bullish trend in the market. Although the market went to the red mark several times during the trading session on Wednesday, but eventually the market closed on the green mark.
Thursday's stock market
Earlier on Wednesday, the stock market saw a rise for the fourth consecutive day. After the end of trading today, the Sensex closed at 58,350.53, down 214.17 points or 0.37 per cent, while the Nifty index closed at 17,393.30, down by 47.85 points or 0.28 per cent. In trading, 13 of the top-30 stocks of the Sensex closed with a fall.
