News18 Bangla Bangladesh Border News: A big conspiracy of fake currency racket has been busted in Dinhata of West Bengal, adjacent to the Bangladesh border. On Saturday night, Sahibganj police station raided and arrested two youths on the basis of secret information and seized 80 fake notes of 500 taka each, i.e. a total of 40,000 taka. This action was taken near Nazirhat Hospital Square in Dinhata, which is considered very close to the border.

According to the information, three youths were passing through Nazirhat Hospital Square on two bikes. On seeing the police, two youths panicked and started running. One left the bike and ran, while the other tried to escape with the bike. The police showed promptness and caught two on the spot, while the third youth escaped.

The youths who were caught with fake notes recovered from the bike have been identified as Mustafizul Ali (21) and Zakir Hussain (28), who are said to be residents of Krishnapur area of ????Tufanganj. When the police searched their bike, fake notes hidden in a sack were recovered. The police have also identified the third accused, his name is said to be Vikas Burman, whose search is on.

Fake notes network active again, suspicion of gang deepens According to sources, for some time now, there were signs of movement of fake notes in many areas bordering Bangladesh. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has also issued an alert in this regard. In such a situation, the recovery of such a large amount of fake notes from one place is an indication that the activities of a big gang have once again intensified.

Officials of the special team of Police Vigilant Sahebganj police station said that this arrest could be a part of a big network. There is a plan to raid other hideouts in the coming days and special surveillance has been increased in the border villages.
