The Miami-Dade County Sheriff's Office arrested Emilio Rodriguez, 54, accused of shooting another driver during a road rage incident on the night of Friday, October 31, in the Doral, Florida area, according to the police report.

According to the arrest report, as the victim—an adult male—was walking back to his car, Rodriguez pulled out a firearm, yelled at him, and fired a shot, striking him in the face. After the attack, the suspect returned to his vehicle and fled the scene, Telemundo 51 reported.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue teams transported the victim to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, where he remains in stable condition after being shot in the face.
