Oakland thieves will be prosecuted for death of Hispanic influencer from Los Angeles
Four suspects are accused of the death of Miguel Ángel Aguilar in an attempted robbery in September 2024; a judge said there is evidence to prosecute them
A gang of four alleged robbers from Oakland were identified as allegedly responsible for the murder of a Hispanic influencer, an incident that occurred in September 2024.
Last week, a judge ruled that three surviving members of the criminal group will be tried on charges of robbery, assault and murder, for the shooting death of Miguel Ángel Aguilar, in an attempted armed robbery on September 13, 2024.
Jason Melara, Mario Melara, Daymonee Johnson and Mahki Taylor were identified as the members of the criminal group who shot Aguilar, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
