Leonela Liliana Gomez-Hernandez, eight months pregnant, was deported after a medical appointment; agents forced her to sign her deportation papers
A Hispanic woman from Los Angeles, eight months pregnant, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and deported to Nicaragua, her family confirmed.
Leonela Liliana's husband Gomez-Hernandez, 27, said he didn't know his wife's whereabouts because she wasn't in the ICE database, until he received a phone call from her telling him she was traveling to Central America. Gomez-Hernandez told her husband that federal immigration agents pressured her to sign deportation papers.
