Raul de Molina reveals that he is alive thanks to his daughter Mia: She saved me the day I fainted
The Cuban presenter reappeared on El Gordo y La Flaca and opened up about the health situation he experienced after his recent operation
Cuban presenter Raul de Molina, 66, returned to the 'El Gordo y La Flaca' forum on Monday after being absent from the broadcast for more than a month due to an operation he underwent that became complicated.
In his return to the show that he hosts with Lili Estefan, Rauli went into detail about the health crisis he suffered and how important his daughter, Mia, was in preventing the situation from getting worse.
According to his testimony, his daughter was the one who found him on the floor and immediately called 911 after her father fainted in the middle of his post-operative recovery process.
"Despite all the fights I have with her, she has behaved wonderfully, like the best daughter in the world. She moved into our house for six weeks. She was the one who saved me the day I fainted. Mia has truly been spectacular," said the host.
Raul de Molina's testimony was interrupted by Lili Estefan, who wanted to put viewers in context about what happened the day Raúl de Molina gave reference.
"When you take the pills, two or three days later you faint on Sunday, early in the morning. Mia was supposed to go to a Pilates class and it was late. She felt like something hit the floor, something fell on the floor, she went over to check and found Raúl passed out," recapitulated the mother of Lina and Lorenzo Luaces.
After finding her father lying on the floor, Mia called the emergency number and he was taken to a hospital, where the presenter received the necessary medical attention after the episode he went through.
Raul de Molina concluded the topic by showing his happiness to be back on the program he has hosted for 27 years.
"They took me to the hospital, they had to open the wound again. We already showed that here when we told the story of 'El Gordo y La Flaca'. I don't want to remember all that because I'm happy “Here I am back," said the Caribbean presenter, who was greeted with applause by Lili and the rest of the show's crew.
