The British actress Millie Bobby Brown surprises again by opening the door to her private life and giving an unprecedented look at her family dynamics as a mother after adopting a little girl in 2025.

The famous woman shared her testimony through a video promoted by UNICEF from the “My Parenting Journey” initiative, in which different personalities share their reflections on parenting.

During her participation, the “Stranger Things” star pointed out that one of the challenges she has faced is the uncertainty and learning curve that comes with being a mother, since there is not always the right answer.

"They're doing something and you're like, 'Is this normal? Do they do it?' And then I call my mom. She's like my 911. 'Mom, did I do this? Did my brothers do it?' And she's like, 'Oh, it's completely normal. They do it all the time,'" the UNICEF goodwill ambassador said.

In this sense, the 22-year-old young woman highlighted the importance of having a support network to turn to in these cases. In her experience, this inner circle consists not only of her husband, mother and immediate family, but also friends she has made along the way.

"It's very good to have support. And if I can't call my mother, I call my mother-in-law. It's the same. It's very comforting to hear words of encouragement (...) My husband and I always say: 'Today was today and tomorrow will be tomorrow. Let's go to sleep'. We take it day by day," she continued.

Regarding the satisfaction that being a mother has brought to her life, the famous woman commented: "No one prepared me for the love I would feel. People say they love their children. I don't understand how it is possible for that to happen in my heart. I don't know how that feeling can be so overwhelming. It's simply incomprehensible."

Finally, Brown emphasized the teaching that she wants to instill in her daughter from an early age: female support: “I try to learn everything I can and incorporate it into her life so that she knows an environment where girls support girls, women are successful and fulfill their dreams,” she said.

This is not the first time Millie Bobby Brown has opened up about the most challenging role of her life. In November of last year she gave an interview to Vogue magazine in which she reflected on her new reality as a mother.

"I don't see that having your own child is really different from adopting. It has been a beautiful and incredible journey, it has already taught us a lot (...) The little things in life are much more valuable. Our days are full of pampering, laughter and love. It is an infinite joy," he commented at the time.

A desired motherhood

August 2025 was the month in which the couple made up of Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi announced to the world that their family was welcoming another member through adoption.

The announcement was made from the actress's Instagram account, in an emotional message that sealed the commitment of both celebrities to take their new role as parents with all seriousness and love.

"This summer we welcomed our sweet baby (...) We are very excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in peace and privacy. And then there were three. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi," they expressed to their millions of followers from the platform.
