Christian Nodal reappears with his grandparents in full tension with his parents
The Mexican regional exponent reappeared on networks with an image with his grandparents in the middle of an active legal process with his father due to his stage name
The Mexican singer Christian Nodal reappeared on social networks with an unexpected photograph in the company of his maternal grandparents, demonstrating that despite his distance from his parents, he has a solid family support network.
It was through his Instagram stories that the “Botella after bottle” singer posted a black and white postcard in which he appears hugging Don Ramón and Doña Mela, parents of Cristy Nodal.
The image highlights the affectionate exchange between the singer and his grandparents, who have been characterized by keeping a profile away from the spotlight despite their grandson's profession.
Christian Nodal accompanied his publication with the song “Mama, I’m Coming Home”, released by rocker Ozzy Osbourne in 1991, and which in its verses reflects on the fatigue of a chaotic life and recognizes the value of the people who were always by his side.
Hours later, the 26-year-old artist made a second post on Instagram. On that occasion it was a short video from the window of his house in Zacatecas that he set to music with his own song “My before and after.”
This family reunion between Christian Nodal and his grandparents occurs in the midst of the estrangement he is experiencing with his parents, as well as the legal conflict that prevents him from using his stage name until 2036.
The controversy between the singer-songwriter and his parents reached its highest point when it came to light that Jaime González, father of the artist and owner of JG Music, renewed the “Christian Nodal” brand before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, without the consent of the famous person.
With this move, the famous man's father maintains legal control over his son's stage name, image and musical catalog for the next 10 years. If he wanted to separate himself before this period, Nodal would be obliged to pay millionaire compensation, according to the clauses of the current family contract.
In response, Ángela Aguilar's husband registered the trademark “El Forajido” to operate autonomously in his future musical and commercial projects without the need for authorization from his father.
Although both parties have limited themselves to not issuing direct statements regarding the legal process, Christian Nodal made his position clear by stopping following his parents on social networks and deleting all publications related to them.
