Galilea Montijo and Andrea Legarreta defend Carolina Miranda after Yeri Mua's statements
Yeri Mua claimed that actress Carolina Miranda assaulted her at Bad Bunny's 'La Casita' during his concert
The hosts of the program Hoy, Galilea Montijo and Andrea Legarreta, came to the defense of actress Carolina Miranda, after influencer Yeri Mua publicly accused her of assaulting her during a Bad Bunny concert at “La Casita”.
The controversy arose when Yeri Mua claimed on social media that Miranda had intentionally pushed her during the event, generating an immediate media frenzy that even reached Televisa's morning show.
“A well-mannered girl”
Andrea Legarreta was emphatic in defending Carolina Miranda's career and personality: “Those of us who know Caro know that she is a very well-mannered, decent girl.” The presenter reinforced her stance, adding: “She’s a beautiful little thing. From a very refined girl to a very decent girl.”
For her part, Galilea Montijo offered a contextual perspective on the incident, attributing what happened to the conditions of the venue: “The space there, in the little house, is very small. And well, there are a lot of people. And everyone seems to want to be right up front.”
The host explained that at these types of events, pushing and shoving is common due to the inevitable proximity between attendees, and shared a personal anecdote to illustrate her point: “There was a moment when I felt a little push and I said, 'Wow, they’re pushing.' And it was Bad Bunny,” she commented amidst laughter from the studio audience.
Both presenters agreed that the situation could have been misinterpreted, highlighting not only Miranda’s character but also the circumstances of a massive concert where physical contact is often accidental.
