Journalist Jessica Maldonado, who left Telemundo in October 2025, took advantage of the end of the year to finalize new projects and begin 2026 with new challenges.

The former 'Al Rojo Vivo' talent will start the year with a new A new work challenge, in which she will collaborate with her friend Kate del Castillo.

Both will be part of the third season of 'Neteando', a podcast that premiered its first episode this Thursday on YouTube.

“I missed you so much, I really missed these conversations with you and the guests we're going to have,” said Kate at this new beginning.

In the premiere episode, which lasts more than 40 minutes, both celebrities also recapped 2025 and how complicated that year was for both of them.

“You always have to be grateful for what happens,” said Jessica Maldonado, who said she feels blessed to have the friendship of Kate del Castillo, with whom she has worked in different stages, and whom she considers a good friend.

Jessica Maldonado's reappearance on screen comes months after the two shared a photograph of themselves together following the journalist's dismissal from Telemundo.

In the image, posted by Kate and set to the song 'She Rises and She Glows' by Lihny, 'La Reina del Sur' is shown enjoying a glass of wine with Jessica Maldonado, while her other friend opted for a bottle of water.

They shared the photo hours after Telemundo informed Jessica that her time at the network had come to an end, just as happened with Myrka Dellanos, who showed up for work this Wednesday as usual, but was no longer allowed to appear on 'La Mesa Caliente'.
