Olivia Collins, an actress who has appeared in productions such as "Dulce Challenge" and "Te Sigo Amando", has reaffirmed her support for Maribel Guardia in a new wave of statements following those made by Imelda Tunon in her legal and media battle after the death of Julian Figueroa. The former participant of “La Casa de los Famosos Mexico” has been a front-row spectator of the dispute that the Costa Rican has experienced with the mother of her grandson. This has led her to make accusations against Imelda, whom she described as a "freeloader" and "ungrateful" for her behavior towards Maribel: "What this woman is doing seems to me to be in very bad taste," she stated. "What's happening to her now with her grandson is unpleasant because this person, this woman, whom I don't like at all because she's really hurting her a lot—let's say 'hurt' in quotes because Maribel is strong-willed, she has wonderful emotional intelligence—and yes, it hurts, these are losses, and that stays with us," the actress lamented. For Olivia Collins, the situation strikes a chord because she watched Julian Figueroa grow up and accompanied Maribel Guardia through every moment of her motherhood. "We were both pregnant at the same time, we had the same gynecologist, we would get together to play with the children, and well, it's a pain that won't be overcome, it just slows down a bit," she stated at a press conference.

According to the television star, Imelda Tunon's behavior was inconsistent considering that she had long been financially dependent on the Figueroa family, while her marriage to Julian was falling apart.

“She was a capricious girl, she would leave, she would abandon him, they were separated. They slept in different rooms, they even wanted to divorce, and well, nothing came of it, they didn't get along,” she stated.

“She was already showing her interest… not simply in being well protected, supported, and cared for by her son. Maribel was contributing to all the expenses, and she was just there to have fun,” she added during her conversation with the media.

Furthermore, she expressed her displeasure regarding the assertions the young woman made about Maribel Guardia's alleged romantic past: “There are some very unpleasant statements that Imelda made, claiming that her grandfather had told her in his time that Maribel practically sold herself to men for $100. I find it so vile and so low that she would do that,” she explained.
