Paty Navidad reflects on her 40-year career and her future in music
The actress and singer opened up about the ups and downs she has experienced throughout her career, as well as the projects that are coming her way
Paty Navidad, Mexican actress and singer, is preparing to say goodbye to a 2025 full of successes and welcome a new year with several professional challenges, as she revealed in a recent interview in which she reflected on her almost four decades in the business.
According to the former participant of “La “House of the Famous: All-Stars” and “Top Chef VIP”—her 40-year career in the entertainment world sounds easy, but it has brought challenges that haven't always yielded the expected results. “They taste of immense gratitude, effort, discipline, sometimes a lot of sadness and pain, tears, sacrifice, but also of many satisfactions, moments of gratitude and abundance, because I have received the most beautiful things from God, and speaking of the most beautiful things, it doesn't mean that all of them are beautiful; some are also very difficult, but they are necessary to become a better person,” she stated in an interview with TvyNovelas. One of the topics she addressed during the conversation was her new musical project, with which she hopes to capture the public's attention through her interpretation of some of the most acclaimed songs. “Right now I'm relaunching my musical career, which makes me very happy and motivated… With powerful lyrics from our great songwriters, like Maestro Juan Gabriel, and from great performers, paying tribute to…” “This is a tribute "I can tell you that there are many singers who sing beautifully, extraordinarily, divinely; the new generations have gorgeous voices, but not everyone interprets well… I think that if there's one thing that has characterized Mexicans, it's not just our music in the world, but how we express things through song,” she emphasized. To all those who still question her singing talent, the famous singer responded with a powerful message:"Since I was a child, I've always loved our music, but also performing, an old soul (...) Right now, everything is falling into place so that people can get to know me even more through my music. Even though I have five albums, there are still people who wonder if I sing. Well, I don't just sing, I perform," she concluded.
