In recent hours, new details about the last moments of the iconic actress Diane Keaton have been revealed, this after the 911 emergency call was leaked.

According to an audio obtained by TMZ, emergency services were called to the Annie Hall and Godfather star's residence shortly after 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning, responding to a report of an “unconscious person.”

In the call, firefighters can be heard requesting an ambulance to attend to what they described as a “person down,” who was later identified as Keaton.

The actress was immediately transported to a hospital, where, sadly, her death was confirmed. Her family issued a statement saying Keaton was surrounded by loved ones in her final moments and asking for privacy to grieve.

News that shocked Hollywood

The news has shocked Hollywood and its fans, but it was also revealed that close friends had been concerned about her health in the weeks leading up to it.

Oscar-winning composer Carole Bayer Sager, 81, told People magazine that she was alarmed when she saw her friend recently.

“She had lost a lot of weight,” Sager said. “I saw her two or three weeks ago and she was very thin.”

The artist also added that Keaton had faced a difficult year, since earlier this year she was forced to leave her home in Los Angeles due to wildfire damage, temporarily relocating to Palm Springs.

“When she came back, I was shocked to see how much weight she had lost,” said Sager, who described Keaton as “a magic light for everyone,” highlighting the profound impact the actress had on those around her.

Diane Keaton leaves behind an indelible legacy in cinematography, with memorable roles that cemented her as one of the most beloved and respected actresses of her generation.
